Saad Mirza is the founder of Ravyn Technology Corporation. Saad studied aerospace engineering at Princeton University. Saad is responsible for financing, recruiting, engineering, compliance, and business development. While in college, Saad led Operation Space, a nonprofit corporation that designed, built, and launched a 2-stage sounding rocket towards outer space. This project generated significant press coverage.

Dr. Loginn Kapitan

Dr. Loginn Kapitan brings extensive experience in defense contracts and missile systems. As a Vice President and Division Manager at Leidos, he led the capture of nearly $1b in defense contracts for various combat systems including direct strike and stand-off weapon systems. He led teams working on the Predator drone and Hellfire missile modernization. Dr. Kapitan was an early employee at MicroStrategy, now a publicly traded firm with a market capitalization of $100b. He served in the United States Air Force as an Acquisition Officer and Program Manager for missile R&D programs approximating $2b in value, focusing on guidance, navigation, and control, propulsion systems, and hypersonic design. At LTA Aerostructures, he led the development of futuristic airships, securing a NASA Space Act Agreement and $30m in government funding. Loginn is an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Corporate Controller

Matthew Rea brings 15 years of expertise in finance, accounting, and compliance. As Corporate Controller, Matthew is responsible for government contracting registrations, financial reporting, export control, taxation, and payroll. He helps prepare cost volumes for government contract proposals and helps Ravyn navigate a highly regulated industry. Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant and earned an MBA from Auburn University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Athens State University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Brigadier General (Retired) Al Abramson

Advisor, Business Development

As the former Joint Program Executive Officer for Armaments and Ammunition (JPEO A&A), Al was responsible for acquiring armaments and ammunition for the Joint Forces with a budget of $12b. He served as the Commanding General at Picatinny Arsenal, renowned for developing the Picatinny rail and serving as the Army's center of expertise for guns and munitions. Al was also on the Executive Committee of the National Armaments Consortium, one of DoD's largest Other Transaction consortia for weapons R&D, overseeing annual contract awards of around $10b. Al is an alumnus of The Johns Hopkins University.

Thomas E. Hawley

Thomas E. Hawley

Advisor, Legislative Affairs

Thomas E. Hawley brings significant experience from both the Army and Congress to help Ravyn develop lower cost missiles for America. He served on the staff of the House Armed Services Committee for over 16 years, where he worked on defense policy and weapon systems acquisition, and helped conduct numerous Congressional investigations. Tom also performed the duties of the Under Secretary of the Army in an acting role, and was the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army for six years. He retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1997, having served in Japan and Germany. Tom has received the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, and is an alumnus of Princeton University.
