Ravyn can provide engineering services related to tactical missiles and munitions. In the future, Ravyn aspires to manufacture defense articles. We bid on requirements posted by the US government related to system design, analysis, and prototyping. 

We are interested in solid-fuel and cruise missiles, artillery, precision-guided munitions, solid fuel rocket motors, aerial targets, fixed-wing UAS, sounding rockets, and related subsystems. Ravyn has interest in missile subsystems like solid rocket motors (2”-36” diameter), fin control actuation systems, resilient GNSS/INS,  miniaturized single-board flight computers, and high-temperature composite structures.

Our explosive products will be designed to meet Insensitive Munitions requirements when necessary.

Ravyn is a member of several DoD OTA Consortia including National Armament Consortium, AFLCMC Acquisition Directorate, SOSSEC, Cornerstone, University Consortium for Applied Hypersonics (UCAH), Naval Surface Technology Innovation Consortium (NSTIC), and Naval Aviation Systems Consortium (NASC). Ravyn is a nontraditional defense contractor and a small business in its primary NAICS code.

Ravyn is interested in subcontracting and commercial opportunities. Ravyn will consider Direct Commercial Sales opportunities with allied military customers.

Q: How many employees do you have?

A: We currently have four employees. For the purpose of new business opportunities, we have made several contingent hires for key engineering and project management personnel.

A: To date, Ravyn has not generated any revenues. Ravyn has not yet had any contracts or sales.

Q: What goods or services do you offer?

A: We offer services related to guided missiles, solid rocket motors, precision-guided munitions, cruise missiles, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), GNSS receivers, and control actuation systems. We specialize in lightweight solutions extensively using high-temperature carbon fiber composites.

Q: Do you have a Facility Security Clearance (FCL)? What clearances do you have?

A: No, we do not yet have an FCL. However we are registered with DDTC and have an approved Joint Certification DD-2345 Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. All personnel are US citizens. Ravyn strives for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including DOT, ATF, FAA, DOD, DHS, EPA, and FCC.

A: All personnel are US citizens. The company is US-based and 100% US owned.

Q: When was Ravyn founded?

A: Ravyn was incorporated as a Delaware C Corporation in September 2019. Shortly thereafter Ravyn raised a Series Seed equity round from GoAhead Ventures in Menlo Park, CA.
